Bodega 1904

Porteño Group

Named after the year the Rozelle Tramway Depot opened in Sydney, Bodega 1904 is the third restaurant from the business partners behind Bodega and Porteño.

Located inside Sydney’s historic Tramsheds, this restaurant and wine store serves up an award-winning standard of simple and delicious Latin American-inspired tapas.

Briefed in to us as a 1920s style diner, we worked to achieve a modern identity with lots of nods to the past. We took inspiration for typography and colour schemes from the trams as well as design movements of the 1920s.

Ink delivered the brand identity, rolling it out across menu designs, signage, t-shirts, business cards, coasters, wine labels and the Bodega 1904 website.
